1. Rule Header

Rule Description - Provide the account mapping rule description for the header

Input Period - Specify the input period to be taken as reference to fetch the Input values as Source

Scenario - By default - specific period, or based on context period, the rule is executed.

However, additional scenario provided flexibility is to choose Offset option in the relationship while selecting the Period members, using this option users have the flexibility to select the previous year (by input -1 in Year input field) or future year (input +1 in Year input field) - same thing applies for period.

Applicable To - filtering members based on fields & specific members selected using Update list, based on which this rule is applied.

Post To - Can be enabled for scenarios, where calculation output is to be posted for specific member combination.

2. Rule Details

Account mapping rule details has been simplified for business user experience into 2 sections:

2.1 Input

2.1.1 ADD

Insert new line Item for capturing Input dataset combination.

As the rule detail can accommodate multiple input datasets or line items, this option is enabled to decide whether each line item is to be added/aggregated or deducted. The net value of all the line items will be posted to the target dataset

2.2.2. Input dataset

User selection from Dataset member selector to select the specific dataset member for Input. The member selected can be base member/parent or even derived from attributes of the field

2.2.3 Input Account

User selection from Account member selector to select the specific Account member for Input

2.2.4 Input Flow

User selection from Flow member selector to select the specific flow member for Input

2.2 Output

2.2.1 Output dataset

User selection from Dataset member selector to select the specific dataset member for posting the target value. since the target has to be posted, member selection is restricted to base member.

2.2.1 Output Account

User selection from Account member selector to select the specific Account member for posting the target value. since the target has to be posted, member selection is restricted to base member.

2.2.1 Output Flow

User selection from Flow member selector to select the specific Flow member for posting the target value. since the target has to be posted, member selection is restricted to base member.
