JustPerform is a “Unified & Intelligent Performance Management Platform” that empowers users to create, orchestrate and execute processes around xP&A (Extended Planning & Analysis), Consolidation, Profitability analysis, Intelligent Forecasts with AI and ML
JustPerform achieves this by orchestrating process around three foundational pillars for “Unified & Intelligent Performance Management”: These foundational pillars are Business Process Focus, Intuitive User Experience, Governance & Change.
JustPerform enables enterprise users to define their business processes in a simple and visual manner. A Business Process in JustPerform is consolidation of smaller units called scenarios. Each scenario covers a business outcome to be achieved. In addition to business outcome, scenarios also covers various actions/steps to be performed for addressing that particular scenarios. Upon completion of business process definition, JustPerform intelligent algorithm reads various actions/steps defined in a scenario and guide users to define required- models, associated business rules & data flows. On completing process definition, actions/steps defined in scenarios are grouped into Tasks, Activities and Workflow. Additionally, JustPerform includes
Business Reference Models: Explore scenarios available in 100++ business reference models and adapt them to build your organization specific business process instead of starting from scratch. Scenarios in business reference models cover business outcomes and the models, data flow to support the scenario are automatically generated.
Scenario Management: Provides ability to enhance scenarios inherited from business reference models or create new scenarios. Manage changes to process by controlling changes through scenarios using versioning and approval workflow. Scenarios that are approved are moved to design, development, testing and deployment stages using release management.
Automated Insights are incomplete without ability for user to influence the insights intuitively and easily. JustPerform user interactions are designed with deep understanding of business users, what they need, what they value, their abilities and also their inabilities. It brings together familiarity and flexibility of tools like Microsoft Excel and visual dashboards with Guided Workflow, Enterprise Controls and rich presentation capabilities. Microsoft 365 JustPerform Add-in: Microsoft 365 JustPerform Add-in lets user use familiar Excel interface for analyzing data in JustPerform and interact or input additional data based on the tasks and activities assigned to users. With JustPerform No code approach, users can leverage on familiar pivot table kind of experience in using or creating forms and reports in Excel.
Workflows: Workflows provide a guide for people to get work done. They provide a streamlined user experience that leads people through the processes has defined for interactions that need to be advanced to achieve business outcome. This user experience is tailored so that people with different security roles can have an experience that best suits the work they do. These activities and tasks provide a visual indicator that tells people where they are in the business process. Business process flows reduce the need for training because new users don’t have to focus on which tasks they should be using. They can let the process guide them.
Changes to Processes and Systems are inevitable. These changes are even more essential when it comes to managing business performance. The Governance processes weaved into JustPerform helps in managing all changes to the production operations environment from inception to completion. To successfully manage change throughout JustPerform, assurance of all modifications is recorded and authorized at the appropriate level. It starts by updating the scenario details and flows through the release management process. For regular maintenance tasks, it allows Workspace Owners to define fine-grain authorizations for maintaining specific Enterprise Structure (Master data), Data Enrichment Rules in data flow and Business Rules for calculations. Release Management: Track status of approved scenarios through design, development, testing and deployment stages. It includes tracking test results, incidents against the scenarios before deployment and monitoring of incidents post deployment.
Access Control: Additionally, enable segregation of duties to allow decentralized maintenance of Enterprise Structure (Master data), Data Enrichment rules and Business Rules.
Data Blending: Raw data comes in many different shapes and sizes. Data blending is the process of combining data from multiple sources into a functioning dataset. You're charged with combining data from various sources and getting it into the right shape to generate insights quickly. Build your workflows in an intuitive, visual, drag and drop style environment.
Automated Data Preparation: Preparing data for analysis is one of the most important steps in any project—and traditionally, one of the most time-consuming. Automated Data Preparation handles the task for you, analyzing your data and identifying fixes, screening out fields that are problematic or not likely to be useful, deriving new attributes when appropriate. This enables you to make your data ready for model building quickly and easily, without needing prior knowledge of coding.
Modelling Workbench: Modelling workbench allows Power users (Modelers) to structure data models to achieve business outcomes. Modelling workbench provides provision to create Dimensions, Dimension attributes and models or data tables.
Business Rules Library: Business rules are a set of calculations or data processing tasks created visually by business users. By providing framework for defining various types of business rules, JustPerform helps avoid expert coding in most cases. JustPerform includes
o Account Mapping: Map data from existing Accounts and Flow to new members. Typical use cases are generating Statement of Changes in Equity from Financial Statements, Indirect Cash flow, Notes to Accounts, Auto Reclassifications.
o Allocations: Allocations are a helpful tool for users to distribute out values collected on one object to several other receiving objects. Typical uses cases are Product Costing, Profitability & Cost Analysis, Cost distribution, Management Reporting.
o Value Driver Tree: Value Driver tree is a visual representation of business model covering key metrics and establishing relationship between key metrics and underlying drivers. The relationships are established using simple VDT expressions or functions. It is designed to be simple and easy to learn while exposing the power and flexibility of underlaying models. It can be compared to applying Excel formula on multi-dimension models.
o Automatic Journals: Automatic Journals are primarily applicable for consolidating use cases. Automation rules allow period-end journal entries to be created and populated based on data and rules, and posted automatically, eliminating considerable manual period-end work.
Extendable AI & ML Engine: JustPerform allows two-way integration with machine learning platforms allowing users drive accurate decisions with forecasting that leverages powerful, integrated artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML). Example of algorithms to support intelligent forecasting are classification, regression, dimension reduction, or clustering, using advanced algorithms including deep learning, tree-based methods, and logistic regression.
Enterprise Collaboration: Enables sharing of scenarios, business rules with relevant business users to align on business outcome, actions/steps and rules defined to achieve these outcome.
Workflow Designer: Orchestrate approved business process into series of Activities and Tasks using workflow designer. Share workflow with relevant users for alignment on Workflow. Finally publish workflow for execution.
Process Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor progress of process based on workflow designed, generate notifications based on data alerts or based on workflow completion schedule.
Reports & Insights: JustPerform is tightly integrated with Microsoft 365, that connects online Excel or native (desktop) Excel to interact data in JustPerform. Additionally, JustPerform dashboards use visualizations to convey business insights as a story. Unlike a conventional dashboard, JustPerform allows for two way interaction with data, allowing users to update data, execute activities and task and Analyze data. It allows for users to share and present insights with other users.
Outbound API’s: Extend usage of data in JustPerform by connecting JustPerform with downstream applications like Data warehouse, BI tools, Planning / Consolidation tools or files.
