Overview of User Management

Access to tasks & Control on data - Both are managed only at space level. Hence roles are created & managed only at space level & users are assigned to roles at space level Only.

Users are added to the workspace first and then based on request are given access to respective spaces. They are assigned the roles withing space, which decide the limit of access control in that space.

Roles

Roles can be access from the Explore pane, in Governance section, under Permissions.

The Roles page will show a list of all Roles created in the workspace along with the count of Users assigned the particular role. Followed by this is the Actions column, where actions like User Assignment, Role Assignment, and Copy are available.

Search	Searches for the role with any key word typed In
New Role	Opens the new role creation pane
Multi-Role Management	Navigates to role access page, where task access & data access for multiple roles can be assigned
Delete	Deletes the selected role
... More	Import and Export option for excel file
