On selecting edit on the functional area the Functional Area details pane will open to the right. The details include Name, Description, Control Fields, Linked Access, Data Protection Rule applied to the Functional Area, if any.
The Functional Area is accessible by clicking on the Functional Area. It is a table structure with columns Name, Title and Type. Name is the Object name, including Functional Area name, and title. Type indicates the object type as Functional Area, Sheet, Boards etc. The rows include sheet, boards, models etc contained under the functional area.
On clicking the Functional Area the options to add objects, open in new tab, copy, edit and delete will be presented. On clicking the row for other objects, the options are limited to open in new tab, copy, edit and delete.
The metrics tab of the Functional Area is also a table structure with column Sheet, Metric, Data Type, Formula, Applies to, Data Protection Rule, Fields, Functional Area. Sheet implies the sheet the metric belongs to, its name and data type, the formula logic if it is a formula metric, if any field is added to metric in Applies to section, it'll show in the column. Data Protection Rule applied to the metric will appear in the column, fields included in the sheet containing the metric the fields will show in the column. The Functional Area column will show the Functional Area metrics belongs to.
The level2 header has the option to Search and Edit Functional Area detail.
The level2 header has the option to Search and Edit Functional Area detail and also the option, under to Export the metric details as an excel sheet.
