We are introducing two new actions on consolidation sheets to help you efficiently transform data between Group (Currency) members. The new additions include:
This action enables the conversion of currencies from the Local Currency to other currencies. To use this feature, exchange rates must be already maintained. Rates can be configured under Rates > Exchange Rate within the same functional area as the sheet. Currency conversion rules can be defined by updating triggers, properties, and rules in the Actions tab of the sheet detail page. For more advanced needs, you can also set up detailed conversion rules in the same section.
This action is used to consolidate data from entity-level to group-level based on ownership structure details. Ownership structures can be managed by configuring the Ownership Structure under Rates. Group consolidation rules can be setup by updating triggers and specifying the consolidation method in the Actions tab of the sheet detail page. You have the flexibility to enable currency conversion to run in along with group consolidation, streamlining the process further.
In additional to the Add parameter for metrics in sheet, you will now be able to add the detail about specific field from the metric data as a member ID itself by using Alias Function. This will be useful when we want to populate data based on value of another metric. For example, we have a sheet containing two metrics : Sales volumes and Customer by product, version and time. Of these, Sales volume is an numeric input metric and Customers is a field selection. In a different sheet, containing fields product, version, time, customer, the metric Sales volume can be used a main input metric in a formula type metric and the parameter Add is used for field Customer with metric selection as Customer, alias as Measure
Odata enhancement: Data integration using OData source will now include parameters to integrate Exchange Rate data. This will be authenticated by using Access Key.
SAP Fund Retraction Enhancement: You can now enable SAP Fund Retraction from metric data in addition to model data
Both actions can be executed by clicking the Run button on the Actions tab or through the Data Options in the sheet. Alternatively, you can tag the rules to tasks under Calculations & Data Flow and execute them via the Activity section.

You can now copy data directly within a sheet using the Copy Data option. This feature allows you to replicate data from a source selection to a target selection. The two selections must differ in at least one aspect, such as a field or a metric. This option is accessible from the L2 header on the sheet, under More, as Copy Data.
