Level Group is a feature in JustPerform that creates a virtual hierarchy by linking different leaf members. It allows users to maintain multiple levels of input within a single dimension, focusing on actual members only. The data aggregation happens automatically as users maintain the Level Group.
Subfields add additional layers to the Level Group, allowing users to monitor which exact level a respective member belongs to. Users can define a list of levels in Subfield. By maintaining Subfield values, field members can be better controlled with additional functionality specifically designed for Subfields. Subfield Property functions similarly to other property type "Groups", while Level Group Property functions similarly to other property type "Parent." For Virtual Models, users can filter specific Subfield levels and members for correct data restriction.
Introducing a new type of snippet, Input Sheet. This snippet allows users to input data into a model, similar to the Input table in the JustPerform Excel add-in. Similar to Report Snippet, Input Snippet can also be created as Private or Public Snippet.
To create an Input Sheet snippet, go to the model in web, click to select Create Snippet Input Sheet. Drag and drop the dimensions that you want to include in the snippet layout. You can also specify whether you want to allow multiselect and enable user selection for each dimension.
Once you have created the input sheet, you can save the data by clicking the button. The data will be saved to the leaf members of the dimensions that you selected. If you enable Enable Input to Parent Members option, the data will also be allocated to all leaf members of the input parent member. Additionally, user has the ability to insert columns and rows to Input Sheet snippets.
User can also Allow multiselect and Enable User Selection similar to JustPerform Add-in. Dimension with Enable User Selection can then be displayed under selection list.
Just as in excel add-in, user can update Preference to show additional properties.
You can also set the reference range for the rows and columns of the input sheet. This is similar to the Set Range feature in the JustPerform Excel add-in.
In addition to the new Input Sheet snippet, JustPerform has also made some changes to the Report Snippet. The Field List and Report Structure panels are now displayed as two separate panels, and you can drag and drop fields between the two panels. You can also convert a Report Snippet to an Input Sheet snippet or vice versa.
Applicable to is a new feature in Value Driver Tree that allows user to restrict the impact of a Value Driver Tree rule to specific member combinations. To define Applicable to, go to the Level 2 header of the Value Driver Tree and select Parameters. Then, update the list of Applicable to dimensions and select the relevant members.
The final member filtered for the rule will be a combination of the following:
The member selected in the Calculation Task
The member selected in Applicable to (if exists)
The result of this combination can then be used to filter to the respective Value Driver Tree metrics. If the Metric member is blank or mentioned as Context, the selection will follow combination of 1 and2. However, if the Metric member is anything other than blank or Context, the selection will follow the same Metric member selection only.
