Three new metric types, each with a different purpose and application is introduced. We already have input and formula metric type. Metric can now be created from the Fields pane of Sheet Detail as well as from the Metric List page.
This metric type is used to aggregate data from multiple metric within the same sheet under a hierarchical structure. Just like we create hierarchy structure within fields, same can be accomplished for Metrics using Parent metric type. Parent metric can only be aggregation of other metrics within the same sheet. Source data of parent metric can be Input metric, Formula metric, Linked metric or other Parent metric in the same sheet. To create a Parent Metric, follow metric creation steps as usual, select metric type as Parent, add the lower level metrics and assign signage (+/-).
Summary metric will apply same formula to all members, regardless of whether it is a Leaf or Parent member. The metrics used to create Summary metric can be of any type and from any sheet. Summary metric is different from Formula metric as formula metric only applied the formula calculation logic to leaf members and simple aggregates those values at parent member, whereas, Summary metric applies the same logic in calculating the parent members as well. To create summary metric follow the process similar to that of Formula metric, except select Type as Summary. Parameters and metric functions similar to formula metric can be used here.
Linked metric allows using metric from source sheet to target sheet as it is. Modification to the metric data in one sheet will immediately reflect in other. If two sheet sheets have different dimensions, Filter and Assign parameter can be used. We have the option to enable input to this metric in Target sheet, using Allow Input option in target sheet. To create a Linked metric, from the Fields section of Sheet detail, in Metric, select Link metric to add from list of available metrics. Metric name can be updated and linking condition can be created in parameters using Filter and Assign.

We can now create multiple sections within a sheet, each section with varied level of detail. This will enable utilization of multiple sets of fields in the same sheet. The multi section creation functionality is extended to input snippets and report snippets. Sophisticated reports can be created using these sections. To create multi section sheet, check option Allow Multiple Sections in fields pane of sheet detail. Following this, sections can be added to sheet and fields can be added to or removed from the respective section. The sections can then share an axis.

When user copy data using either Copy Scenario or Snapshot, system will only consider data which is under authorized access. The authorization requirement is as follows :
For Copy Scenario only copy if user has :
Read or Write access for Source Data AND
Write Access for Target Data
For Snapshot only copy if user has :
Read or Write access for Source Data
Learn more about More Sheet Options here.
Under More in Sheets, user have the additional options now :
Quick Export/ Import : Previously under Toolkit, now the option in accessible from More, under level2 header in sheet, similar to fields and models.
Copy Scenario and Snapshot data : Previously available under Scenario field, this options can now be accessed from More.
