Complete web reporting is now enabled using Snippets by creating Input sheets & Reports, depending on type Input Sheets allows users to capture all the data required with different level of details & structure, while report snippets can be now used for detailed analysis of model data by fields, their attributes & preferences.
You can access & built these Snippets reports on existing models, virtual or standard. Can easily access and collaborate on these reports. Snippets can be shared with filters, using the web url. Authorized users can view the reports with their respective filters, enabling targeted analysis based on specific data details and history.
Now, you can leverage this function to report data in Web interface along with Excel interface. User experience for building reports has been kept same for business user's easier adoption.
Styles have been introduced in Snippets, providing users with the capability to format Snippets according to their preferences. This enhancement aims to improve the reporting and input form experience within the web interface.
Value Driver Tree (VDT) engine has three significant updates, each complementing one another:
Output Field Mapping: This feature allows users to dynamically change the output member based on mappings with members from the Input metric. Users can map dimensions from the Input metric based on Link to type Property. For instance, if an Input metric's Subfield is linked to the Organization Unit, the system detects all Subfield levels. Users can then select a specific property as output, and the system returns the corresponding member during calculations. With this, output member can be dynamically determined, enhancing the versatility of VDT.
Embedded Clear Logic in VDT: Users can now set up clear logic directly within the Value Driver Tree, providing stricter control over the impact area for Rule Designer. By checking Enable clear logic within the preferences section, users can insert clear rules and define them similar to standard calculations. This embedded clear logic streamlines the process and offers more precise control over data clearing within the VDT.
New Member Selector Relations: These relations, applicable only to VDT Context, introduce two new options: Siblings and Property Member. Siblings encompass all members assigned to the same group as the selected member, allowing users to detect an entire group of data even when selecting a single member. This is useful when, for example, data transfer between departments is required. Property Member, on the other hand, results in a different member where the ID matches the value assigned in the Property of the Context member. This feature enables precise control in scenarios like clearing data between different departments. Users can define Property members within the Member selector of the Input metric or VDT Clear logic.

Users will find a Style Toolbar icon appearing on the 2nd level header of the Snippet screen. Users gain access to a range of formatting options, including font, font size, number formatting, text color, background color, cell border, alignment settings, text wrapping, indenting, and more. Additionally, users can choose to hide or display various elements such as grids, column headers, row headers, and the formula bar to tailor their view to the report content. To create and apply styles, users can navigate to the Toolbar. On expanding toolbar, they can manage styles, allowing for customization of components like row and column axis headings, data, and more, all while having the flexibility to assign different styles based on conditions such as input or calculated members. Individual style settings can be applied by selecting specific formatting options, and once the Styles are set up and assigned to the Snippet, users can refresh the report to see their chosen styles in action.
